Harriet Cowan became the latest addition to the workforce at Clarkson's Farm. Jeremy Clarkson hired her during the fourth season to fill in for Kaleb Cooper.

The 24-year-old is a farm worker and nurse who excels in both professions, much like her parents. She graduated from the University of Derby in 2023 with a nursing degree, but her career has taken an unexpected turn.

She never expected to become such a big hit on the television programme – and the sudden fame has also had other effects on her life.

Harriet created a TikTok video expressing her astonishment at the number of followers she'd amassed since the show aired. As of this month, she boasts a whopping 700,000 followers on the social media platform.

Speaking to her audience from her caravan, she described her newfound popularity as "insane," expressing her gratitude to those who wanted to "get involved" in her journey.

She revealed that she was "300,000 off a million," and if she reached a million followers, she would "be in shock forever". She then shared an exciting secret with her followers.

Harriet announced a potential new project – she's considering launching a YouTube channel with her partner James, where she would document her daily life on the farm.

She aims to foster a supportive space where followers can engage, learn, and create a close-knit community.

Enthusiastically, she divulged her aspirations for her platform: "I just want it to be a positive environment where people can chat, and ask questions, and learn from it - that's the base of what I want to do. And then hopefully it'll grow into something where we've got a lovely little community."

Harriet admitted her initial hesitation about starting her own YouTube channel, citing self-doubt despite encouragement from others telling her to "do it" and enjoy the fun it brings.

"If it's something everyone is interested in, hopefully we'll start it in the next couple of weeks," she revealed, hinting at a potential new venture based on the curiosity and enthusiasm of her audience.

Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Harriet didn't hold back her surprise at the attention she received online, feeling "so, so grateful for it".

"Just from cutting some eyebrows and driving some tractors," she joked, reflecting on the activities that skyrocketed her to social media fame.

People took to the comments section to encourage Harriet on her journey. They branded her a "fantastic addition" to the farming community and say her rise to fame is "well deserved".

One admirer penned: "You have a natural likeability that truly sets you apart, and if I were you, I'd embrace that fully – it will take you far. I'm genuinely hoping you become the Farm Manager at Clarkson's, if only to witness Kaleb's tantrum!"

A second chimed in: "Do it! I know our family would watch, and I'm sure everyone who's watched Clarkson's Farm would definitely be interested!"

While a third contributed: "You are brilliant on Clarkson's Farm. Need to be a permanent addition."
